Overview

Boomerang has 3 corners, 3 right-hand and 0 left-hand, turning through 360° in total on a 282 m lap. The tightest corner has a 14 m radius. At 18 m wide it is one of the narrowest tracks in the game, where one wall touch ends the run.

To beat the target you need an average of 26.7 s a lap. Every corner goes right, so it is a good track for building a rhythm.

Corner by corner

#CornerTurnsAngleRadiusHow to take it
1Arc 1right120°30 mFast sweeper. Enter with speed and a small angle; too much angle here only costs time.
2Pointright120°14 mTight. Short handbrake tap, big steering angle, patience on the throttle.
3Arc 2right120°30 mFast sweeper. Enter with speed and a small angle; too much angle here only costs time.

Tips

  • Drive one clean lap first: any wall contact restarts the run, and your ghost only records runs you finish.
  • Once you have a personal best, race its ghost and watch the checkpoint splits to find the corner that costs you time.
  • On a track this narrow, a smaller angle and an earlier entry are faster than a heroic slide.
  • New to the technique? How to drift with a keyboard covers handbrake entry, counter-steer and linking.
